The following items may never be listed, offered, or requested on 592Markit.com:
- Illegal drugs, controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia
- Firearms, ammunition, and explosives (unless the seller holds a valid Guyanese firearms licence and states it openly)
- Stolen property
- Counterfeit goods, knock-offs, and pirated media
- Forged documents, IDs, diplomas, or currency
- Human trafficking, exploitation, or any content involving minors inappropriately
- Endangered animals, protected wildlife, or products derived from them
- Live animals (unless legal to trade in Guyana and only from licensed sellers)
- Prescription-only medication
- Human organs, blood, or tissue
- Personal data, databases, or hacked accounts
- Malware, spyware, or hacking tools
- Tobacco, vaping products, and alcohol (unless the seller is a licensed retailer)
- Adult content and sexually explicit material
- Pyrotechnics and hazardous chemicals
- Lottery tickets or gambling-related items
- Recalled, unsafe, or banned consumer products
- Items that promote hate, violence, or discrimination
2. Restricted — Allowed With Conditions
Firearms & ammunition
Only sellers holding a current, valid Guyanese firearms licence may list. Licence details must be included in the listing. We may request documentation at any time.
Vehicles
Sellers must be the registered owner and provide the registration number and details on request. No listings for stolen, unregistered, or cloned vehicles.
Property
Only the legal owner or their authorised agent may list property. Rental listings must state whether a deposit is required.
Agricultural chemicals
Only licensed suppliers may list pesticides and herbicides. Safety warnings must be included.
Alcohol & tobacco
Only licensed retailers may list. Age verification is required from buyers.
3. How to Report a Prohibited Item
If you see a listing that violates this policy:
- Open the listing
- Click Report listing
- Choose Prohibited item and add any details
Our team reviews every report within 24 hours. For urgent safety issues, contact us on WhatsApp immediately.
4. Consequences
Violations may result in:
- Listing removed without warning
- Temporary or permanent account suspension
- Ban from all future use of the Platform
- Report to Guyanese law enforcement where required
