592Markit.com works best when everyone is honest, respectful, and follows the rules. These guidelines explain what we expect.
2. Be Honest
- Post accurate titles, descriptions, and photos.
- Use real photos of the actual item — not stock photos.
- State any defects, damage, or issues clearly.
- Price fairly — no bait-and-switch.
- Only list items you own or are authorised to sell.
3. Be Respectful
- Treat other users the way you want to be treated.
- No harassment, threats, slurs, or hate speech.
- No discrimination based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.
- Keep disagreements civil — don't resort to insults.
4. Listing Rules
- One listing per item. No duplicates or spam.
- Post in the correct category.
- Use clear, well-lit photos — up to 10 per listing.
- Include a real price — no "PM me for price" unless the item is genuinely negotiable and you state that.
- Update or archive listings that are no longer available.
- Respond to buyer inquiries within 24 hours when possible.
5. Honouring Deals
- Once you agree to a sale, honour it.
- If you change your mind, tell the buyer immediately.
- Don't sell the same item to multiple buyers.
- Don't back out of a deal because you got a higher offer.
6. Keeping Transactions on the Platform
We understand that most communication happens on WhatsApp — that's fine. But:
- Use the Platform to find buyers and sellers.
- Report anyone pressuring you to move off the Platform for scammy reasons.
- Keep receipts and screenshots.
7. Consequences
Violations result in escalating action:
- First minor offense: warning via email
- Repeat or serious offense: listing removal + temporary suspension
- Severe violations (fraud, threats, prohibited items): permanent ban + potential report to authorities
8. Appeals
If you believe a decision was made in error, contact us and we'll review. Appeals are handled case-by-case.
